I began this blog with a focus entirely upon the Book of Proverbs, hence the name “Daily Wisdom from Proverbs.” Having taken time to reflect, I have recognized the need to look beyond the immediate study of Proverbs and make sure I accurately “Brand” the blog for its content.
I often sign my letters to the church family, “With a shepherd’s heart” or “From a shepherd’s heart”. My dear staff and co-workers seem satisfied that “From the Heart of a Shepherd” would be a true depiction of my writings and my purpose for writing.
You will begin receiving my daily devotional blog with the header “From the Heart of a Shepherd.” It is my prayer that you are being blessed and encouraged by this country parson’s pondering.
