Dear friend,
My “Heart of A Shepherd” devotional blogs have literally reached around the world since I began them January 1, 2014. As of today, 51 nations have read “Heart of A Shepherd” devotions! I had no idea so many would have an interest in reading the meditative ponderings of this country boy!
Many “Heart of A Shepherd” readers cannot join me for our Resurrection Services at Hillsdale Baptist Church this Sunday, but those who can are warmly invited to join us as we reflect on the Cross and celebrate Christ’s Resurrection.
Our Sunrise Service is at 7:30am and I will invite you to join me on “The Road to Calvary” and sing some of the great traditional songs on the Resurrection like “Christ Arose!” Hillsdale is providing a delicious breakfast and time of fellowship following the Sunrise service in our Friendship Hall.
Our Resurrection Sunday Morning Service is at 10:00am and includes Scripture readings on the Cross by Mrs. Robin Ralston, three beautiful choral numbers [“Who Is the Lamb?“; “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross“; and “Christ Will Be Lifted Up“] and two thrilling music team numbers on the cross and resurrection titled “When Love Came Down” and “See What A Morning!“.
With the heart of a shepherd,
Dr. Travis D. Smith, Senior Pastor
