RiotersI have come to the realization that “Civility” has died; however I was unaware of her demise.  I knew she was struggling and had observed her decline, but I convinced myself she would pull through without a heroic intervention.  Sadly, I was wrong.

Civility’s cousins—Love, Kindness, Patience and Contentment (1 Cor.13:4-8a) had assured me there was “Hope” for Civility (1 Cor. 13:13).  So I waited to hear the news—Civility is well!  The news of Civility’s recovery never reached me; instead, her absence and untimely demise is well reported and she is universally missed.Sharpton

Ferguson, Missouri’s cries for Civility go unanswered as lawless, rampaging youth incited by provocateurs like Al Sharpton, destroy their community using the pretense of another’s death as a catalyst for their rejection of justice, civil law and order.

Chicago’s cry for Civility is overwhelmed, not by howling winds, but by the blood of her children slain by youth who have no heart and no future.human toll

Civility, the child born of Faith and Love is dead, but Hope is alive where Faith and Love abide (1 Cor. 13:13)!

Luke 6:27-28But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28  Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.”
