Dear friends of the “Heart of a Shepherd”,

A word of explanation is in order for my absence over the past two weeks, especially to those who have followed my “Heart of a Shepherd” devotional blog over the last 18 months.

Technically I have been on vacation, but in reality my wife and I have been packing, moving and unpacking in a “new to us” home nearer a loved one in Tampa.  I am “back on the job” this morning and looking forward to getting back to the routine of life and ministry with those I have served for nearly 30 years (October 1, 2015 marks my 30th anniversary at Hillsdale Baptist Church).

I will post a devotional thought from Proverbs later today.
