A Brief Note from the author of “From the Heart of a Shepherd”:
Pastor friends often express surprise when they learn I attempt to write a devotional commentary for the Hillsdale family everyday. From a time management standpoint it is a challenge (for instance, I was flying the past two days and attempting to write and post devotionals was nearly impossible).
The knowledge that nearly 170 nations are annual followers of “From the Heart of a Shepherd” is humbling.
The following nations (49 total) represent readers of “From the Heart of a Shepherd” in the past week alone. Several of the nations are “closed” nations where missionary church planters could never go and some where professing Christ would be at the risk of one’s life.
As of this post, I have published over 800 devotional commentaries and articles. Included in that number are devotionals on the entire Book of Proverbs (most written in my early posts).
I have had many ask when I plan to compile and publish my devotional commentaries on Proverbs. It would be my dream to publish them in both soft back edition for daily devotionals and as an E-book for pastors and laypeople to search by verse and topic.
