Dear Heart of a Shepherd Followers,

God has blessed Hillsdale with dedicated, devoted servants who joyfully invest their talents and enrich our lives and ministries.  We owe a debt of gratitude to those who labor behind the scenes and make possible the ministry of others under the spotlights…too many to name, but they are essential to our platform ministries.

Last night marked the beginning of a new era for Hillsdale as Hillsdale Fine Arts Academy, directed by Mrs. Caroline Wetterlund, presented its first drama production, “Performing Faith: The Life of Corrie ten Boom”.

This Chamber theater production was directed by Dr. Melissa Cancel who not only starred in the production as Corrie ten Boom, but trained and coached five of Hillsdale’s teens in her Speech and Drama studio.

The second performance of the play is scheduled for this Saturday at 2:00 PM with a prelude presented by Suzuki Strings under the direction of Mrs. Evelyn Moore who will also play a beautiful moving instrumental theme during the performance.

Admission is free and the public is invited to attend this moving drama of life and faith set in Ravensbruck Concentration Camp for women, located in Nazi Germany, 1939-1945.

With the heart of a shepherd,

Pastor Travis D. Smith
