Dear Hillsdale family, friends and followers of Heart of a Shepherd,

A private pilot has graciously volunteered through Operation Renewed Hope to fly Hillsdale’s first team of four to Houston this Monday.  Our men are going to help two churches flooded by Hurricane Harvey.  The waters have receded and our men will begin demolition work–removing water damaged dry wall, carpet and furniture to prevent mold from destroying the buildings and homes.

Please pray for safety…the flooded areas are polluted with raw sewage, dead pets and wildlife.

This Sunday morning we will pray for Houston, our first team and the second team we hope will follow them later this next week.

As a reminder to our church family: If you cannot GO… you are invited to GIVE financially to support Hillsdale’s Missions Relief Teams and the expenses they will incur.  My heart is that we will be able to give the men liberty to purchase all they need while in Houston.

More information will follow when we learn when the second team will depart and the relief goods we can send with them.

With the heart of a shepherd,

Pastor Travis D. Smith
