It is still dark out today, but I look forward to coming to you with not only this Sunday’s devotional, but also worshipping together in both our 9:45 and 10:30 services this morning.

Hillsdale’s Youth Pastor, Justin Jarrett will be bringing the Teen Bible Study at 9:45 AM as he continues his series in the book of James.  His title this morning is “Phony Faith: When your walk doesn’t match your talk,” from James 2:14-26.

The Pastoral Quintet has added one church member to our ensemble this week.  Mr. Sean McGrail is a bass in Hillsdale’s choir and he consented to add his talent to our group this week.  We are opening the 10:30 service with a special number from the Scriptures from 1 Samuel 17… I invite your children to look up that passage and guess the event we will be singing about.

The title of my sermon this morning is “My All-Sufficient Shepherd and LORD,” and is taken from the first verse of Psalm 23: “The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want.”

The special before the message is a beautiful arrangement by Mac Lynch titled, “My God is Near.”

God bless you my dear church family and friends. I look forward to being back with you in a few hours.

With the heart of a shepherd,

Pastor Travis D. Smith
