Good morning and a wish for a Happy Mother’s Day to all the ladies that grace our lives with godly virtues and self-sacrificing love.

We are excited that Hillsdale will celebrate this Mother’s Day by opening our doors for our first public services in eight weeks. Please know as you come, things have changed as we exercise an abundance of caution.

Justin Jarrett is continuing his Teen Bible Study in the Book of James at 9:45 this morning and the doors to our building will be opened briefly from 9:40 to 9:50 AM.

For those coming to the 10:30 worship service, the doors will be opened at 10:15 this morning and will be closed at 10:45. I ask that you make your way to the auditorium, sit with your family, and place a minimum of six feet between ourselves and other families.

The pastoral staff will open the service with a special music number dedicated to moms and young Jake Armstrong is joining the men with a solo. The pastoral staff will also introduce a new number for our group titled, “Above All Else.”

In closing, I want to express to my wife, Sheilah, my overflowing joy for her to be the mother of our children and a thank you to Sylvia, Sheila’s mom for entrusting me with her wonderful daughter forty-three years ago this July.

Happy Mother’s Day to my mother and to Jenni, my daughter by marriage and the mother of our granddaughter.
