Your Invitation to Hillsdale’s Father’s Day Services and a Video Devotional Commentary

Good morning! Today is Saturday, June 20 and the pastoral staff and I look forward to being with our Hillsdale church family for this Father’s Day Sunday services.

Service Times: Our Sunday Services begin with our Children’s Rally Time in the Blue Activity Room at 9:00 AM, followed by Kids Choir with Music Pastor Steve Armstrong at 9:15 AM.

Teen and Adult Bible Studies all start at 9:15 AM as the majority of our adult classes continued to be combined in the auditorium. “College and Singles” and “In Harmony” classes have their individual classes.

At 10:30 AM, I will continue my new sermon series, “Isaiah: The Voice of One Crying in the Wilderness.” This week’s message illustrates the spiritual truth, “Choices Have Consequences,” and is titled “Three Indictments Against A Dying Nation,” from Isaiah 1:10-31.

We are continuing our chronological reading of the Bible and today’s devotional is my 172th commentary for 2020. Thank you for following me on this journey through God’s Word. The Scripture reading assignment for today is 1 Kings 10-11; 2 Chronicles 9.

The title of our devotional is “The Fame, Infamy, and Finale of King Solomon.”

With the heart of a shepherd,

Pastor Travis D. Smith
