You are invited to join our church family this Sunday morning, September 6 for our worship services.
Children’s Rally Time begins at 9:00AM and is followed by Kids Choir with Music Pastor Steve Armstrong, and then Sunday School Classes.
Teen and Adult Bible Fellowship Classes begin at 9:15AM. Pastor Brian Barber’s Class will be broadcast live on Hillsdale’s Facebook Page and www.HillsdaleBaptist.org.
In keeping with Pastor Smith’s prophetic series from the Book of Isaiah, our congregational worship will begin at 10:30AM with “Joy to the World!” That hymn is usually heard in December as a celebration of Christ’s birth; however, few believers know that “Joy to the World” is not a reflection on Christ’s birth, but a celebration of His Second Coming!
Pastor Smith’s sermon is a study of Isaiah 7 and is a look at the historical context of the Messianic prophecy of Christ’s virgin birth: “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14).
