A Recommendation for a Good Friday Tradition

This is your invitation to celebrate this Sunday’s Easter Resurrection Services with Hillsdale Baptist Church.  We are conveniently located at the crossroads of the Veterans Expressways at 6201 Ehrlich Rd., Tampa, FL. Our morning service will also be broadcast live at www.HillsdaleBaptist.org.

Resurrection Service @ 10:00 AM

Hillsdale’s morning service will be filled with an opportunity to sing congregational hymns that reflect on Christ’s suffering on the Cross, and His bodily resurrection. The church choir will present four “Easter Anthems,” and a Men’s Ensemble, and the Pastoral Staff Quartet will celebrate Christ’s resurrection with moving songs of praise and thanksgiving.

I am looking forward to presenting a message on the Resurrection titled, “The Resurrection, A Triumph of Grace!” The service will close with the congregational hymn, “He Lives!”

I invite you to view a special video devotional commentary for this Good Friday that is titled, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” (Luke 23; John 18-19).

P.S. A Good Friday tradition: I have made it an annual practice to listen to a sermon titled “Sitting Down They Watched Him There”, by the late Dr. Bob Jones, Jr.  In my opinion, this is the most powerful and moving sermons on the cross I have ever heard.  You can listen to that sermon at http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=480414731
