Friends and neighbors,

As you know, Hillsdale Baptist Church and our cooperating partner, Operation Renewed Hope, were one of the first to enter the path of destruction left by Hurricane Ian. We were able to mobilize and bring aid to those who lost everything in the Port Charlotte and Cape Coral area.

Hillsdale has shifted from bringing supplies to the area (water, gas, generators, food, and clothing), and is waiting for direction from those on the ground in the area. We are not collecting goods at this time.

While life may never be back to normal, gas stations and grocery stores are opening and FEMA and other agencies are there bringing aid. Insurance adjusters are working in the area, and the people are beginning to remove damaged dry wall, carpet, furniture, etc.

As pastor of Hillsdale, I thank each of you that gave to our effort to assist our neighbors to the south.
