Pastor Smith continues his verse-by-verse Bible study of the Life of David in his through the Bible series, “Logos: A Journey of Faith, Hope, and Love.”

This message will consider David’s final work. Motivated by pride, David commanded for the people to be numbered and, in doing so, provoked God’s wrath.

After allowing David to choose between three judgments, the king chose a three-day pestilence, and the wrath of God fell upon Israel, and 70,000 men died. Yet, the LORD was merciful and the plaque stopped at what is known today as the “Temple Mount.” In this, the grace and mercy of God were revealed.
